SECTION 1 — ROLE OVERVIEW
1.1 Who is an OVMPS Affiliate?
An OVMPS Affiliate is an independent promoter who earns commissions by:
- Bringing new vendors to register on OVMPS
- Bringing buyers who place orders on the platform
- Driving awareness and market expansion
- Sharing their affiliate link across online and offline channels
Affiliates are ambassadors of OVMPS, helping vendors discover the platform and helping customers find great products.
They are not staff, but they are part of the OVMPS growth system.
SECTION 2 — HOW AFFILIATE COMMISSION WORKS
2.1 Vendor Registration Commission
Affiliates earn a one-time commission when a vendor registers through their affiliate link:
- Basic Vendor: No initial registration commission
- Standard Vendor: Commission credited after successful payment
- Premium Vendor: Higher commission credited after successful payment
2.2 Sales Commission
Affiliates earn 0.5% per order from all vendors who registered using their affiliate link.
This continues as long as the vendor remains active and selling.
2.3 Commission Crediting
Commissions are:
- Recorded in real-time
- Visible on the Affiliate Dashboard
- Paid through the OVMPS payout schedule (weekly or monthly depending on policy)
SECTION 3 — MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Vendor Acquisition
The core work of an affiliate is:
- Sharing the OVMPS vendor registration link
- Educating potential vendors about benefits
- Helping vendors understand the membership plans
- Teaching them how the platform works
- Ensuring they sign up using the affiliate link
Affiliates must never mislead vendors or give false promises.
3.2 Customer/Buyer Outreach
Affiliates can also promote:
- OVMPS deals
- Product categories
- New arrivals
- Vendor stores
Every buyer that purchases through the affiliate link generates earnings.
3.3 Basic Vendor Support
Affiliates may help new vendors with:
- Registration guidance
- Basic navigation: dashboard, product upload steps
- Understanding shipping, refunds, terms
Affiliates are not responsible for:
❌ Editing vendor products
❌ Handling disputes
❌ Managing orders
❌ Approving refunds
3.4 Branding & Public Representation
Affiliates must uphold the image of OVMPS by:
- Speaking truthfully about the platform
- Following marketing rules
- Not posting misleading claims
- Maintaining a clean and respectful online presence
3.5 Weekly Reporting
Affiliates must send:
Weekly Reports to State Manager or Affiliate Supervisor:
- Number of vendors prospected
- Number of vendors registered
- Sales generated
- Challenges or questions
- Recommended marketing ideas
This helps OVMPS monitor performance and provide training.
SECTION 4 — AFFILIATE DASHBOARD (WCFM) — WHAT THEY CAN DO
The Affiliate Dashboard is simple and focused.
Affiliates can access:

✔ Affiliate Reports
✔ Affiliate Link Generator
✔ Affiliate Traffic Analytics
✔ Vendor activity linked to their account
✔ Order commissions
They cannot access:
❌ Vendor dashboard
❌ Product listing tools
❌ Finance/Payout settings for vendors
❌ WooCommerce backend
❌ User management
❌ Refund approval areas
Affiliates only see what concerns their performance.
SECTION 5 — WHAT THE AFFILIATE MUST NOT DO
Affiliates must avoid:
❌ Collecting money directly from vendors
❌ Promising vendors instant approval or special benefits
❌ Creating fake vendor accounts
❌ Misleading promotions
❌ Editing vendor products
❌ Handling vendor payouts
❌ Touching vendor settings
❌ Offering unauthorized discounts
❌ Claiming to be OVMPS staff unless officially employed
Affiliates who violate these rules may lose:
- All unpaid commissions
- Affiliation rights
- Account access
SECTION 6 — REQUIRED SKILLS
An effective affiliate must have:
- Good communication skills
- Basic digital marketing skills
- Ability to explain platform benefits clearly
- Social media marketing experience
- Understanding of vendor needs
- Ability to follow up with prospects
- Discipline and consistency
SECTION 7 — DAILY WORKFLOW OF AN AFFILIATE
